Any of you in the area of Mill Hall, Pennsylvania . . . here's a way to hear some great steel pickin' and get a chance to hear and possibly try out a Carter with Body-ContactTM Technology "BCT", as well.

to find out how far you are from Mill Hall, PA, or to get directions, you might use this very cool mapping site, and find out which Starbucks are on the way, at the same time if you wish www.MapBlast.com

I received this announcement late yesterday August 1, from psg player, Dan Yeaney, owner of Digitrax Recording Studio in Lockhaven PA; Email: digitrax01@hotmail.com :

Dan Yeaney is playing pedal steel guitar in the "Always Patsy Cline" show at "The Millbrook Playhouse" located in Mill Hall, PA which is on Country Club Lane very close to the local Wal-Mart. Phone: 570-748-8083

Schedule - 2-week run:

Wed Aug 1 7pm preview
Thurs Aug 2 8pm
Fri Aug 3 8pm
Sat Aug 4 8pm
Sun Aug 5 8pm

and next week:

Wed Aug 8 8pm
Thurs Aug 9 8pm
Fri Aug 10 8pm
Sat Aug 11 8pm
Sun Aug 12 8pm

Dan says:

if anyone in this part of the state is considering purchasing a CARTER, this would be a good venue to hear one in use and I would be glad to answer any questions that they might have (as best I can) and I WILL be playing the Carter the whole run. Too bad it is only 2 weeks long, [as] I am enjoying the music!!!!

If you do have a chance to go and hear Dan Yeaney pick at this show . . . we'd love to hear about it.

I asked Dan yesterday how opening night was and here is what he said:

quote:

Hi Ann,
Opening night was GREAT!! It was sold out!! I don't know if you've seen this show, but at the end where the bows are there is "going out" music, which we played for 10 minutes!!

The left side of the theater where the band
is didn't get up to leave, they were listening to us. When we did stop, they wanted us to play more!!!

One song I remember in particular was "Walkin' After Midnight", when I played the intro there was very loud applause !! Really makes you feel good!!
Thanks--Dan

We all wish you the best, Dan!
