I'm playing with JC Hopkins and Amy Allison at Fez tues night. This will be the very last gig that I play in the month of July so don't miss it !

Bob

Here is the E mail they sent out:

J.C. Hopkins presents an evening of his own orchestrated new-pop
"standards", Tuesday, July 31st at the Fez:

"J.C. Hopkins wraps Waits and Kerouac in a folk cabaret cloak and bellies
them up to the bar. A melodic menagerie of lost love and good intentions
are windows into another time, each a conspiracy shared with a cheeky grin.
This dive is worth the visit" -- WIRED Magazine

Hi Bob, nice to read this message.
How does it work with this band, do you get arrangements, for melting with horns and strings, or do you get "free hand"?
regards, Johan

Johan,

With JC I never know. For this gig I'm guessing I will just get lead sheets.

It sounds interesting and lively Bob. I have tickets to see Janis Joplin (the play) on Bleecker St tomorrow night but if it lets out by 10, I'll do my darndest to make it. Hope I do, I enjoy watching and listening to you play in various venues. Howard
