I have good news for the St. Louis area people. My good friend and yours, Russ Wever, will be with the Patsy Cline Show here in St. Louis for a whole month! Gail Bliss will be the "Patsy Cline" vocalist and Russ will be the "Jimmy Day" steel player.

The show will be at a new theater style venue at the Ivory Theatre in south St. Louis. We don't have an address yet for the club location. Their rehearsal starts on January 15th and the show will be open to the public on January 18th and ends on February 17th. They will be doing 8 shows a week with Monday's off. Russ is kind of a "local boy" that make good. He has been alternating between the Hank Williams show and the Patsy Cline shows for years. Scotty

Wish we could come up to see brother Russ. What a player, gentleman and most of all he and Carla are two of our dearest friends.

What great news!!!!!!! Linda and I will have to go see our dear friend Russ. We will have to have him over for one of Linda's old fashioned meat loaf dinners. I know that will break Russ's heart. Can't wait to see him. Bobby

Wow, that is a show not to be missed. About a year ago Russ put on a little one night impromtu Patsy Cline show in Kansas City when he was between various road tours. I did capture some video and Russ always does a fantastic job backing singers. The singer that evening calls herself Havilah, I was not sure if that is her stage name or real name but she was a real hit with the crowd.
