Good show, some very good picking,Clyde Bloodworth was the best ever, he enjoyed it very much, burned up the strings with Ken fox right there with him. Good location, big crowd, some did not like the smoking atmosphere. Don Helms has never played better, he was on top, very emotional playing, the singer with him since 9 years old was also extremely well good voice, Don brought more than one tear to my eye.I reminded Don he shared his tuning with me back in the mid to late 40's, we used banjo 1st strig to get the G#, Don said yes we did not know what gauges were back then, and tjis is the tuning I used on the La. Hayride with Sammy Barnhart, and the mystery singer contest.

I agree with Ernie, that was a good show. I enjoyed seeing the guys I knew and meeting the ones I did not know. I say the Daleville show needs to be repeated. I really enjoyed the visit with Don and Hazel. Anyone that was not there to hear Clyde and Ken sure missed a treat, and I will say all the players came well prepared for a top notch show.
