Jim,
It was a great day. It was good to meet you, and thanks for the invite to play drums on your set. I would have loved to, but it was a bit of a drive to get back home and I had to cut out. And thanks to Ken for doing the guitar work on my set as well. Jack...you done good!!! |

b0b: i will mention that the show was in daleville alabama (which is just west of dothan alabama.) martha and i really appreciate all the help in keeping the show rolling. a very special thanks to our friend sonny purdum. sonny left nashville at 5:30 a.m.sunday morning and drove 400 miles to do the show. also would like to thank my wife martha for emcing the show, it was her first time and she certainly deserves a lot of credit.plus all my steel playing friends including shorty smith, roger crawford, don lynch, gordon dodson, pee wee dutton, jim walker, jack conyer, ernie cawby, clyde bloodworth, barney miller, also last but not least don helms and his very lovely wife miss hazel, also mr lamar morris (probably the only musician in the world that knows every song that hank sr. and hank jr. ever recorded). (would also like like to thank all the backup players they did a fantastic job also)...thanks jack and martha |

Jack and Martha, that was a good show. I enjoyed seeing the guys I knew and meeting the ones I did not know. I say the Daleville, Alabama show needs to be repeated. I really enjoyed the visit with Don and Hazel. Anyone that was not there to hear Clyde and Ken sure missed a treat, and I will say, all the players came well prepared for a top notch show.

James, thank you so much for your nice comment. Also, I thank Roger Crawford And Ken Fox for saving me from a total disaster. They made me sound like I could actually play. It was a bad move, though, because I will expect it next time. |

Clyde if you play better the next time I'm afraid the steel will melt. I will be expecting some Dobro the next show. I saw you looking at Travis, LOL.
