Okay, y'all, we're all teed up and ready for your bestest and wildest guesses concerning our newest MYSTERY JAZZ STEELER #6.
Just surf on over to www.SteelGuitarJazz.com and visit the Listening Library, to check out the clip. Then click the link there to return here and VOTE for who you think it is this time! Y'all are getting a little better at this game, I must say, so I'm hopeful that you're gonna do great this time!
Oh, one special note: You may recall that we had an earlier contest in which all the possible players were named 'Al'. Well, this time we've made it a bit harder for you: all the possible players have an 'o' somewhere in their names. I did that just to confuse you.
Have fun!
Jimbeaux
p.s. If you KNOW for sure who it is, please don't post any hints or comments here that might spoil the fun for others. Thx. |

Well, I've been known to play in several places.
Ah but do ya think I'd really put up my own clip?

Are we gonna let that rock-shredder thread get more votes than our JAZZ thread!? Heck NO! But they've already got 21 votes to our measly 8. Come on, give it your best shot. Vote early and often!

OK, I'll give y'all a hint: The player (but not this song) was heard tonight on the All Jazz show on SteelRadio.com. That should narrow it down for ya, unless of course... well, you did, didn't you...? |

Ok, this one is going a little too slowly for my taste. I'll give it another day and then pull the plug on it. Maybe we're just doing these too often and need to give it a rest for awhile...

I'd vote if there was a 'damfino' category. |

Good idea. I might put that as an option if we do any more of these in the future... |

Please keep posting these! The tasteful use of triplets and understanding of jazz phrasing are unmistakable. I say... Jim Cohen (now watch me be wrong). |
