Here's a cool whole note scale that can be played, for example when transitioning from a I to a IV chord, or G to C as shown here. With the exception of the slide on the 1st two notes, every note is exactly a whole tone or 2 frets apart. Well except for one of the upper intervals is 2 whole tones or 4 frets apart. This is easy to play and is exactly the riff I play at the end of Panhandle Rag as posted in the Steel Player's section:

For some reason I am unable to hear the sound files. In Firefox it just says "Done" in the lower left corner and in IE it says "Unable to display" Crying or Very sad

Jim,

It works for me in both Internet Explorer and Firefox both here and at home. Just update your Windows Media Player or other player you are using and it should work fine.
