OK anyone interested at $2500 plus half of shipping? It's a great sounding & playing steel, and it's sure nice not to have to make compromises on the copedant. String spacing is standard - the necks themselves are 10-stringers, but the tuning heads and changers are designed for 11. The body is standard D-10 width but a little longer.
I picked this up as an experiment & project a year or two ago, it was strung as a D-10 and missing several of its original knee levers. I tracked those down, put it back to D-11, and had these pickups made for it (I think they're around 19K, equivalent of 18K in a 10-string, which Jerry Wallace recommended.) Also put on new standard-height legs, added a compensator split for G#/G on E9, and spent some time with it. I've really enjoyed it but I need something more practical for touring so I have a D-10 coming.
The color isn't really quite Turqouise, it's a little more towards an Aqua. |
