I saw Danny last night and then saw this video today. He never mentions this stuff and so he remains this quiet monster that appears to fit into the crowd unnoticed but then....there's this (and the others). I keep saying this but you should hear the stuff he calls and plays me on the phone sometime. Very Happy

Wish he would call like that more often.

About 14 months ago, it was the best of the best when, standing in the middle of a Cave Creek parking lot, the tough decision to make was who to listen to first. Danny on one side and Mike on the other....tsk, tsk. Cool

Does he have The typical E9th/C6th tunings or his own, and if so, what would they be?

Andy, Danny's set up is some what standard, kinda.
The biggest difference is that on the E-9th, Danny's A & B pedals lower from A to E, insted of raise from E to A. Like Sonny Cutis and a few others.
Other than that, the boy's normal, kinda. Laughing

Hi Fred, Are you sure that outside neck isn't an open "G" and he lowers it to a D-9th?

Hi Charles,
Fred and I have been friends for many, many years, but there's one thing I never said: That Fred is smart. Laughing YOU are right; I lower from a G to an D9th.
Fred! Just kidding! Laughing

Fred, I cheated, I'm not that good. I am so impressed with Danny's playing I asked him about his guitar and he told me the set-up. Lord knows I wish that I had that kind of talent; I'm still playing Danny's videos over and over. Danny if you ever do a CD please don't forget me.
