Don't worry about the chords but just enjoy how the E9th tuning makes chords like these sound crystal clear. Using a split tuning or 1/2 step A pedal on the 5th string is pretty common and makes for an easy escape from the typical E9th riffs.

This stuff can be used in a lot of songs and a few Hank Thompson songs used some of these licks.

I am guessing now that the 1st set of notes is a Bm7 with strings 7,6,5,4, being the Root, Minor 3rd, 5th and 7th notes of the B scale.

Thanks Greg. In my personal opinion...your help has opened my eyes to the fact that having a double neck pedal steel is like having a triple neck steel because you really have a C6th tuning , an E9th tuning and a universal tuning all in one.

John, thanks for tuning in. I am learning as I go here, finding all these new (to me) positions.

I corrected the pdf version of the tab to show the Bm7, Bbm7 and Am7 chords.
