A new, nice one from Chuck.

Our friend, Kay Das, recently sent me a Hank Marvin version of "Fields of Gold." I have always loved this tune, and in a serendipitous (good word-that's the ex-English teacher in me) experience, a friend of mine from out of town played a soulful Eva Cassidy recording of the same song. She even brought a Karaoke rhythm track for me to use, instead of a typical Band in a Box track. So here's a duet of "Fields of Gold," featuring my Frypan with Mullen pedal steel harmonies. |

Wow - exceptional!
I never thought I'd like a song that was recorded with a karaoke track, but now I do.
Is that Hank Marvin formerly of The Shadows? _________________

That sounds fun Chuck. I used to buy karaoke tapes to practice with. It is a good way to work on ear training. Those tapes often give you the key and you go from there.
Keep up the great work. |
