It must be like new. Will buy but would rather trade.
Call and let me know what you have. I may trade my killer SD-10 Rains 4+5 Black. Good a tone as i'v heard. I'v got the itch after having the same guitar about a year. This rains is as fine as they come so if i trade it has to be EXCELLENT.

How many steel guitars have you owned Gary? For the right price,I might come off this beautiful emmons of mine.It has a 19 second sustain at # 2 volume on a session 400.It was built By Ron senior for his personal guitar.I talked him in to selling it to me in 1989 in St Louis. |

Bob, I think i'm gonna go with just a S-10 PP. I'v had several single bodies and kinda like them.

I might trade my SD-10 Rains 4 and 5 for a nice pushpull. It would have to be in excellent shape.

Gary my friend,
I realize what you would like to trade must be a real nice guitar, but anyone who would want to swap their Emmons push-pull for it should really think about it long and hard. For me the answer would be . . . .NO WAY BABY!

Nick, I understand what you are saying. But i also have had many people say they think the PP's are junk. Just like you, You wouldn't trade for this but then some people wouldn't trade for yours either. You know how that goes. Some like chevy's and some like Fords. You know the PP's arent for everyone. I can trade it for a real nice SD-10 anytime i want to and its like new for an old guitar.
Thanks for the response.

nothing personal, gary. some of us old-folk just like to entertain ourselves with the historical and legendary aspects of b0b's beautiful creation : the steel guitar forum ...and having been here from close to day one, we feel we have the right to draw from such aspects. the forum is made up of lots of various breeds...ultra-serious to class clowns!
viva la differance! |
