I'll be playing at Pearls at Fort Worth tonight with Billy Mata and the Texas Tradition. Come out and say hey and shake off some of that turkey. Think I'll play my old 68 PP tonight. I just put new strings on her.

Wish I could make it on short notice. Hope to see you in Phoenix this coming January. Hey, I might be the only steel player I know of to own a Yak. (not the plane, the animal)

Hey Franco,

I don't even want to know why you have a Yak. Too bad it's not the plane I could come out and fly it for you.

We had a decent crowd last night but not like the crowds we usually have, We went down to one of the restaurants and it was like a ghost town. The weather was pretty bad.

Got home at 7:30 this am.

Ernie,You and Lonnie and a bunch of others made it fun for me to play. Tell Lonnie we are looking for a new guitar player. That would be a lot of driving even for a Texan. See ya in Dallas
