I couldn't believe what I was reading! I have not been online since last Friday so I had not heard this.

My prayers and thoughts go out to John's family... I never met him personally but he was my favorite player. I've played along side his gospel CD's many hours... This really saddened my heart.

Thanks Doc. for the tip. I'll have to check it out. I believe it was John Hughey who played on the 2 CD gospel collection by George Jones. I have that and there's some great steel on it.
