Hi everyone!
I had a great time at PSGA show in CT a week ago, and it was very pleasing feeling to see all the friends are doing fine.
Any way, I have D-10 Fessy here. and Jerry originally used a "tape" of numbers with plastic "C" clips with #Number written on them.
Because of they are "C" clips, they pop out and got lost when my foot hit them.
Well, I also have #7 Zum Hybrid and this one is set up so perfectly for me. Since I need to trim off 3/4" of the legs and rods of this Fessy, I like to replace these "c" clip numbers to slip-on type.
Can any one help me out where I can get these rings?
By the way, Zum has white slip-on rings with numbers on them, I don't know where Bruce get them, but I don't have a nerve to ask Bruce about this.( Which, I'm sure you all can understand!!)
Am I asking too much??

this was discussed HERE not long ago.
You can also try numbers included in VHS tapes to glue/stick on the bottom of the rod,or use white out with a sharpie pen on the bottom of the rod to mark them. |

| I use a black mark-a-lot near the hook end of my rods. I simply put a mark(s) for whatever the number is facing the inside. Makes it easier for me to see, especially when I don't have my glasses with me. The doctor said it was the 4 in front of the 9, last year when I had my vision checked. I need glasses with little or fine print. I guess now it's the 5 in front of the 0! |

The nice slip on collar type rings are yet another thing that has become very hard to find unless you want to buy 1000 pieces of each number.
Even the clip types are getting hard to locate.
I'm using the printed adhesive tape style on the Stage Ones and locating them up at the hook end. Not the greatest solution but better than having a few hundred dollars tied up in numbers. |

A while back someone on the forum recommended painting the flat top end of the collar white with white out, then drawing the number on with a sharpie. I did this with my Fessy and it works fine. Might need to re-do it occasionally, but it's quick and easy.

P.S. If you have to have numbers it's real easy for a machinist to stamp the number on the bottom of the rod. 
If you send me the bottom ends of your pedal rods I will have them stamped for you. |

| Here is an easy fix. I just wrap some surgical tape (white) around the rod at the hook end and take a ball point pen and write the numbers on each one. they show up real good. |

| An easy way to mark them is as mentioned above. On the hexagonal adjustment nut on the end of your pedal rod, just stamp the number on it with a number punch that you can pick up quite reasonably. |

One Book pac of Electrical wire markers from an electric
supply shop ,will mark almost every guitar rod made in a jiffy.Either wrap the self stickey number around the rod or pur one of the self stickey numbers on bottom.These last for a long time,I also always keep a number from one to four on my guitar leggs for repetive placement.They are very visible having a white backing with Black no. |
