Epiphone

I don't know if I've got this in the right section but a friend of mine has just aquired an Epiphone guitar. The only thing we know for sure is, (at least we think we know for sure)that it is all black, the body is "Strat" shaped solid wood, 1971, and the ser# is 9091172. Can anyone give me a clue as to what model this may be and where I can find any info on it.
