Several people have emailed me about the possibility of offering tab and rhythm tracks for the tunes on my CD, "Finally Here". Knowing that many of the tunes I recorded are not part of the standard steel guitar repertoire, I'm trying to get a feel for how much interest there might be in purchasing these if I took the time and expense to produce them. To refresh your minds, the songs include:

Desafinado (C6)
Tara's Theme (E9)
Secret Love (C6)
Our Day Will Come (C6)
Deep in a Dream (C6)
Hot-Tikvah (C6)
Someday Soon (E9)
Java (C6)
Finally Here (E9)

You can either reply here or privately by email. Thanks!
Jim

Whoa! Slow down, boys! If everybody keeps rushing like this to get copies, somebody's gonna get hurt!

Now, Bob, I sure do appreciate your interest in this and I'm sure you understand that the cost will depend upon the number of orders I get, so right now, it looks like your copy would cost about... lemme see... $850.00 give or take a few dollars. Is that okay?

Jim -- Anything you could offer would be a bargain - even at $850 a pop. Unfortunately, I can't quite dredge up that much.

Seriously, though, tabs and stuff for ANY of those tunes would be well worth what others seem to be getting. That would hold true for whatever else you offered.

I would especially like some of your Western Swing pieces. "Beats Walkin'" has a great sound coming from all the members. Whether it is you or someone else doing the arrangements, tabs, instructional tapes/videos, etc. should be welcomed by all that hear your music.

Please make them available. (Is there any way you could also provide a copy of your hands??? - maybe a rubber mold or something?)

Hi Jim- Sounds like a nice selection of good tunes to me. I don't need the tab, but may like to play along with the rythm tracks...al

Shouldn't you get permission from your record label before doing such a thing?

Sure, Bobby. I'm getting permission from all of my underwriters! Now, how many did you say you wanted to "pre-order"?

Count me in for the tracks. How about selling the tab individually as opposed to in a bundle?
