It always bugs me when the seller says "No Reserve," and he actually has an $1195.00 reserve!

If in fact the finish is original, it does look like a nice deal. I always have trouble assessing things like this on an ebay guitar, however. But if the seller is a vintage expert and warrants that the finish is original, that does look like a great deal.

If I didn't already have the 50s D8 Stringmaster that I have always wanted, I'd be real tempted to investigate this further.
