Interesting second link, a Sho-Bud and Fender twin with a 15" JBL !!

In the UK Jerry Byrd is vastly underrated,
so much so that when I lent my copy of his "It Was a Trip On Wings" Biography to a 'friend' it got lost !

It's going to be hard to put it on E-Bay as it's inscribed to me by Jerry.

If ANYONE finds it please let me know.

As each year passes, it's still dificult to realize Jerry is no longer amongst us. I've heard a lot of JB "wannabee's" but none have come anywhere close to his beautiful touch.
Mary and I attended his memorial service at the ELKS, and while the "theme" was happiness as Jerry decreed, nevertheless many tears flowed from artists and speakers who were there.
Two good things came out of this beautiful memorial service for me...I met Ron Whitfield and Denny Turner for the first time....great guys! Smile

In my opinnion there will never be another like him, even though there are many great players out there. His book is well worth having.

Thanx Ron! Most of us thoroughly enjoy glimses into the past like this.

Plans are underway to infuse the JERRY BYRD Fan Club with a host of NEW PHOTO's of Jerry as a kid player and into his later playing years. I think most of you will really enjoy them.

People who don't return books should be hung, drawn and quartered. My copy has crossed the Atlantic six times so far. When I have a long plane ride I find it fascinating reading, even though I've read it dozens of times before. What a shame I never got to meet the guy,

I never met him either. But I watched his video so many times, went through his instruction book so many times and read his book so much that I feel like I did meet him. I have taken so much of his advice that it's almost as if he were my teacher. I watched some of those you tube videos with him and Marty Robbins today. Great stuff.
