Last year I had my ShoBud Professional totally rebuilt by John Coop. It took awhile but when I got it back I was just amazed how good it looked and played. Well, I have had it back for a good 6 months or so and I am just continually amazed. It just keeps getting better. It plays smoother every day. Thanks again, John Coop, for a job well done. You are the greatest.

I saw some "in progress" pictures of my 6139 from Coop recently, and the work on yours looks very nice and very similar.
But now I'm going even crazier waiting for it. He sure does great work.
I'll post some pics of mine when it gets back.

Thanks for the pic, John. Once you get involved in this stuff you can't help yourself. I still haven't decided if I'm going to Coop my new axe but I just can't get enough views of his work. |

Does the "Coopster" have a web site? Where we can look at some more of his work. I just love looking under the hood of Cooped Bud. Thanks

Obviously, his fastener design is still a work in progress. I'd try duct tape, myself. |

Hey John, that is a sweet guitar and it proably sounds even better, John Coop does great work, and his quality is way up there, if it weren't for guys like John Coop, Ricky Davis, Leon Roberts, and Duane Marrs, the Sho-Bud guitars would not be here today, hats off to all of you. |

Robert, could you please send a pic of your lobsters?
Here's one I've almost got done. Late 67 Shobud/Baldwin. Today, I'm polishing tuners for the Madison Permanent.

Thank you James! I was so happy I was able to save the finish. There was a bad cig burn next to the keyhead.
