Chris I held on to it for so many years just cos i knew i should!
always thought i would use it with a rock tuning, blues, etc, but to be honest, since I got my Superslide, I enjoy that
more (free plug to MSA).
i just got tired of playing in open E on 6 strings....but don't let THAT influence any of you potential buyers!!
(so does anybody know what it is? Champ? Stringmaster? 50's 60's?) |

Tony, it's a Fender Deluxe. It has the same hardware etc as a Stringmaster,
but Fender called the single neck version a Deluxe -
in the tradition of the earlier (47 - 53) Deluxe with the trapezoid pickup.
The month and year is probably hand written under neath the tuner pan.
If that black case is original, it's a later 60s model. _________________

I'd like to see this go to a forum member...it's in really nice condition.
