I thought I was seeing ghosts. Believe it or not, I used to have a 3-groove bar when I first started playing non-pedal steel. It was perfect for "slants". But mine wasn't exactly like the Carter bar... the groove for the index finger was raised and the end of mine was square and prevented me from playing single string before I learned to block. www.genejones.com
