Apparently, this security problem only concerns people on shared computer networks like in a workplace or school, not the individual at home... unless, i suppose you are using a cable modem and someone is trying to intercept packets... this is all too technical for me.
You have to wonder... who is using eBay while they're at work, or school, or the library? As far as i know, it is against the rules of those places to do transactions of commerce for personal use. hmmm... |

As I understand the article, what's at risk is your e-Bay or your Yahoo id and password. Your local passwords to your networks, etc are not involved.. unless of course you've made the mistake of using the same PW's at E-Bay & Yahoo as you use to log into your local network... Not a good idea.
