I have a new job and we are moving from SC to Columbus, GA! I am looking for steel players in the Columbus area and some possible jam sessions. I see that Charles Davidson is from Phenix City, Al (which is not far away). My wife and I do not know anyone in the area and we would like to get aquainted with some folks.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hey Steve!
Due to the infamous "corporate downsizing" my job was eliminated. Fortunately, I was only out of work for 1 month! I like eating too well to sit around unemployed! 
I'll miss the Saluda Shows, but you never know...I might hitch a ride on the mule train from the Georgia Gang! (That is, if the mules can tote one more passenger!  )

Gonna miss you, for sure! I think EVERY job in S.C. has been eliminated. I've been looking since May !

| Hi Bruce , I live in Phenix city al. Just across the river frome columbus ga, I play Guitar and a little steel . And Shorty Smith Lives in col. and plays at the vfw over there look us up Will be good to have another player in town. Best Regards Neil. |
