There are some choruses that just want to go over and over until the cows come home (or until the subways start running again, depending on your venue). "Whiskey River" and "Ring of Fire" are right up there. They also share something I can't quite put my finger on.

Any others? Any ideas on what makes them tick?

The most repeated lines I ever heard were, I love a rainy day!

Do you mean a Rainy Night Al? "Knocking on Heaven's Door" has the kind of chorous I think Jim is talking about too?

It wasn't a chorus, but how about Bill Wither's "Ain't no sunshine when she's gone?" I know, I know, I know, I know, etc.

Celebrate, Celebrate, dance to the music...
Went for 23 times if I remember correctly.

Interesting responses. I was thinking not so much of short repeating phrases but great choruses that seem to renew the energy of a song when they repeat, so you can keep playing them over and over again. "Celebrate ..." is a bit of both, I guess.
