Hi all,

Thanks,

You may have caught it on the worst nights. Danny Sneed plays Thursday thru Sunday at The Buffalo Chip in Cave Creek (north of Scottsdale). I'll be at an outdoor event at The Camelback Inn on Friday evening in Scottsdale (but also a few days late). Tucson on Wednesday but it's more of a serious commute. Usually no steel but the Handlebar J (restaurant/bar)has a good band playing on Wednesday nites (The Herndon Bros....Ray Herndon wrote "Me and You" for Kenny Chesney and was a member of McBride and The Ride and is still in Lyle Lovett's big band).

Have a good stay.

Thank you Miguel. Being a consultant means I get to go to great places (I'm at Fender this week and next, very cool), but only Mon, Tues and Wed. not much good for live music on Friday and Saturday.

Michael

You'll undoubtedly meet up with Sam Marshall (The man behind the Steel King)while at Fender.

Have him introduce you to Chuck Hall while your there. Chuck is the "BEST" blues guitarist that I've ever seen or heard...if he's playing one of the nights that your here, check him out. You'll be glad you did.

Yeah, Sam is a great cat (and a great musician and tech brain guy) and I still have and play thru a couple of Steel Kings (Sam told me once that he thought one of my SK's was number 0001 but the name on the front of one actually says "Steel 200").

Here's a pic with Sam, myself and Shane Nicholas (amplifier marketing director who is a great guitarist himself).

Jack, Mike,

Sam and Chuck are there and I'll try to meet them next week. I'm like a little kid in a candy store, when I go back Monday, I'm buying a Jazz Bass. Great poeple there.
Michael

I just got back from seeing Mike Smith play, wow! A gentleman and a true talent. Thank you Mike, it was great. I can't wait to get home on Thursday to practice.
