What do the question marks mean behind the listings? Also, are you playing any venues at SxSW?

I guess the ? mean Shaan is not sure about the gig.

As to SXSW, I'm playing (so far) with Mandy Klusmann on Wednesday at the Empanada Parlor on 6th Street (I think midnight, but not sure).

On Thursday I do my regular gig with Cornell Hurd at Jovita's, then Justin Trevino and I hop in his van and play with Johnny Bush at Antone's from 11pm-12pm.

Friday I'm with Cornell for his showcase at the Broken Spoke (again, I think midnight but I'd have to check).

Saturday morning/afternoon is the hippest little non-sanctioned SXSW event, called Cornell Hurd's South By South Austin, in the parking lot of the Texicalli Grille on Oltorf Street. This has become an amazing event. This year's lineup is the CHB, Johnny Bush, Ponty Bone and the Squeezetones, and the Bill Kirchen Band. The Hollisters usually show up, as does Ruthie and the Wranglers from Maryland, and Clay Blaker from down in New Braunfels (with my man Tommy Detamore on PSG) Tommy just got a push-pull, so look out everybody!!

I ran into Pete Mitchell at the Spoke tonight and he played me some of Brigitte's new album, and we both sound pretty damn good!

There will be space for you my brother, rest assured. I understand Redd will also be coming out.

Herb,

Is there any chance that Buddy Charlton will be coming down to play with Bill Kirchen's band?

Dennis, Bill usually just brings a bassist and drummer with him to SXSW. But what his plans this year are, I've no idea. Rumors are flying that Charleton and Owsley are taking a bus down to Dallas for the Jamboree next week, but that is totally unconfirmed.
