Dear all,
I am happy to announce on this forum that my first lap steel CD - "Crystal Bar EP" - is available now for free download on the Slide Planet netlabel.
Two years ago I registered on this forum, because I had bought a 1947 National New Yorker that I didn't really know what to do with , and from the start I have received so much great and generous advice from the vast amount of lap steel knowledge and skill present on this forum, and I am so grateful for this generosity! You guys are great!
So, this is my first collection of lap steel recordings, recorded January-May this year, all played on my Lazy River Weissenborn (again an SGF recommendation - thanks Steinar and Terry V!), simplistic tunes in my beginner's approach to the instrument.
You can click on the link above, or here:

Reviews/criticism/comments would be much appreciated here:

And there's a youtube clip about the EP here:

Thanks for your time!
Cheers,

Thank you Fred,
It's very generous of you to share your music with us. I can't wait to listen start to finish. I agree with Tom, you have a terrific style.
I send my 2 cents after I give her a proper listen.
Cheers! |
