They have quite a few videos on You Tube. Some are just still photos with music playing in the background. I'm assuming it's their band playing the music. Some are actual live video's. Very nice playing by all the musicians. The steel ride on "Love's Gonna Live Here" reminds me of Buddy Cage's playing back in the 1970's.
The sound isn't too great on the live videos.

I can't believe how good they are. And not afraid to follow Tom Brumley, Don Rich, and Emmylou.
This is way ahead of the last Japanese country band I heard. They tried to do "Rollin' Down the River." It came out "Roarin' Down the Rebar."
But then, what would I sound like in Japanese? _________________ Steel crazy after all these years.

Checked ot their website - from what I can gather, the guy who plays steel is named Tara, and he's from Nagano Japan. He plays several instruments, but likes to keep the pedal steel front and center in the sound of the band.
It was rather ho hum stuff until about 2 min. 48 sec. into the song, and then he shows some real stuff!
Tear it up, Tara! |

Thanks Lee. I like it, and I appreciate your posting it.
By way of reciprocation, here is a group of Japanese kids singing a negro spiritual.
