The "E", or second string on C6 is the same as the "E", or fourth string on E9.

Robert, some don't tune it exactly like the 4th string on E9 though as on E9 it's a root note and should be tuned to 440. On C6 it's a 3rd of the C scale and some players tune it a little flat because of that......JH in Va.

If you're tuning ET, both Es will be identical. If you're tuning JI (as I do), they will be slightly off. I tune my E on my E9 to 442 and my E on my C6 is somewhere just flat of 440...I think.

E major can be found at the 4th fret on C6th. The strings and notes match up like this:
Tab:
  open E9th       4th fret C6th
   1.                 1.
   2.                 2. G#
   3. G#              3. E
   4. E               4.
   5. B               5. B
   6. G#              6. G#
   7.                 7. E
   8. E               8.
   9.                 9.
  10.                10.

Another way of looking at it: think of C6th as the first fret of E9th with the E strings lowered (using the knee lever):
Tab:
E9th 1st fret       C6th open
  1.                  1.
  2.                  2. E
  3.                  3. C
  4L. E               4. A
  5.  C               5. G
  6.  A               6. E
  7.  G               7. C
  8L. E               8.
  9.                  9.
  10. C               10.

Now I see the inversions thanks. So the E9 has a minor with an A padel only say Em at 3rd and Am at 8. Does this type of change exist on C6

Yes, C6th is actually A minor 7th. The root tone of the minor chord is on the 4th and 8th string of the C6th.

Also, pedal 6 lowers the E do Eb, changing the C chord to a C minor.
