| I need a large Fender "spaghetti" logo decal for the front of my '57 Stringmaster double neck-I know there are some repro's out there-anybody got one? |

| I made a fender decal for my parts-o-caster Tele a few years ago. I scanned an Image of a Fender spaghetti logo, brought ot into Photo Shop and tweaked it. Then printed it on printer friendly decal media. The whole process took less than an hour. You can buy computer printer decal kits at most hobby shops. Good Luck |

Rick J-thanks for link to that site-I clicked on "others" but not sure which decal might fit in-I guess I would have to clip the model designation name off to use one and I'm not sure what size they are-the one that is supposed to be there (on the Stringmaster) is rather large |

Paul,
The spaghetti decals from Bobbe are the ones you need for the front of a Stringmaster.
You have to be careful when you put them on because they're rather delicate. |

Ditto on delicate. The ones from Bobbe split rather easily - but they are much, much closer to the real thing than any others I've seen. DO NOT buy decals off eBay (those actions usually get killed by eBay quickly anyway), at a guitar show, or from anyone who emails and says - "I'll sell you one for $20". 99% of those are inkjet-printed decals and rarely are they the right size, color, or do they have a decent fixative on top to keep them from "bleeding".
You may also be able to take the guitar to a Fender dealer to get a real one - they still make decals for some older instruments, but you have to have "proof of ownership" but toting the guitar to a dealer. Those ones are, of course, always high-quality. A little more expensive but if it's a serious restoraton it's worth it.
