i am looking for a schematic for a steel driver 2,it has a loose wire and i need to know where it connects to. any help would be appreciated.....thanks jack

I dont have a schematic, but I can open mine and tell you by wire color,

Steve is about the best you are going to do unless you send it to Goodrich. They won't sell any schematics for their equipment.

Is this the one? Mine doesnt look like this, Mine has driver on left side, overdrive on right.

steve: that looks like mine, it is the blue wire coming from the tone pot on the left side (the input end). i cannot see where it attaches in the photo.....thanks jack

I will still look at mine and tell you where my wires go, My steel driver II looks like the new steel driver IIIs. I should be able to get back to you tomorrow after I get to my practice space.

Looks like it attaches to the selector switch along with the wire from the right side pot. is the solder broken where the other wire attaches?

Steve: I connected the two blue wires on the left and right together, it works but the volume level on a 1 to 10 is putting out a level of about one...i am not sure if the other wires are connected properly , this unit belonged to a friend of mine and i dont know if he or someone else may have changed some of the wiring.that is the reason i was looking for a schematic....thanks jack

sounds bad,,I'll look at mine and try to draw it out for you. like its not getting to a transmiter or something. Greg Cutshaw is an electrical engineer you may wanna try him
