Hello everyone. I have a Derby D-10 8x6 for sale. I am the second owner of this guitar and the first owner told me it was built "around 2000".

The guitar is in excellent mechanical condition. I made a stop at Steel Guitar Nashville in March and had Bobbe Seymour make some adjustments on the E9th neck, so everything plays and sounds great.

I offered this guitar on the forum a few months ago. It had quite a bit of interest, but I was looking to trade at the time and did not find what I wanted. This time around I am looking to sell the guitar outright.

The price is $2000 (NOW $1900) + actual shipping. I need to keep this firm so I can make a donation to the forum. I have seen Derby D-10's go for about $400 - $500 more here on the forum, but I am just trying to get out what I paid in.

Please feel free to email me with any questions you have about the guitar. Last time I was not receiving some emails through the forum links so please email me directly at glathrop@gmail.com.

If you would like to hear this guitar goto http://www.myspace.com/robertfrancis and check out the track "Love for Me"

  Thanks!!!

Bump for a great guy and a great guitar. Folks, I have seen and played this guitar, and it is a sweet axe in great condition. It looks as good, if not better, in person. A great price, too. Graham is a very cool cat, a great guy to deal with.

Man, I can't believe no one has grabbed this guitar. I would buy it if I was looking for a D-10....it is in great shape, and the price is very good. Check out what Derby D-10's are going for. And the color....surf's up!

Hmm, I don't get it. I don't think I've ever seen a Derby priced this low and nobody has bought it yet. I've seen several similar Derby D10's popping up for $2500 lately on the 'bay. Someone ought to snatch this one up already!

Graham, I'm baffled, too. Sometimes off-the-wall stuff get's tons of interest, and really good deals sit unpicked on the vine here. This is a great guitar, I would buy it if I had the funds free. Folks, this guitar is in fine condition, and it plays and sounds great. Graham is a good guy, no worries!

Don't give up Graham. For that price, someone somewhere will nab it as soon as they are able to; it's all a matter of waiting until the buyer sees it and is ready, which is sooner than you think - trust me. Just keep bumping it up.

Prospective buyers should heed that warning. If you wait, you'll be sorry.

Derby's are great guitars, forumites, and this is a great price.

Wish I needed it, Graham, I know how good these sound, a student has the twin of this, same color and all, everytime he unpacks I go "Ahhhhh!" That color does it for me for some reason.

Looking back at the Derby SD-10s sold on The Forum, they seem to have gone for $1700 to $1900. This is a D-10! I know I purchased a Derby SD-10 within the last two years for a Norwegian friend for $1850. Hope somebody who is looking for a decent guitar at an outstanding price hauls this one in. Great deal and b0b gets the tip. steve t
