I just want to let everyone know that if you are signed up for my newsletter with a yahoo account, please sign up with another account if you have one.

Yahoo has been refusing to deliver at least half of the newsletters we send to them. When I email them to try to find out why, I get an automated response that has nothing to do with my questions to them.

I got them for a while, then about a year ago they stopped. Earlier this Summer they started to get through again, but they've stopped again.

Well, they go out every week on Thursday morning. If you don't get them and are signed up, it seems it is the server and the spam traps that are the problem. We have never had a problem getting the news letter out and haven't missed a thursday in four and a half years. We have over 33.000 readers the world over, not only steel players but folks hungry for music news and insight into Nashville and the innerworkings of the workings of the business and players themselves.
Nashville producers, promoters, players of all instruments, part time players, lawyers, doctors, and fans in general and most of all, STEEL PLAYERS make up most of the readers.
I want all to be able to get this news letter to all that want it.
Let me know always if you are signed up and don't receive it.
Featured player this week is Cal Sharp, with Tommy White, Mike Duchette, Maurice Anderson, Jr. Knight, Norm Hamlet, Tom Brumley and several others you may be wondering about coming very soon.

Bobbe Seymour,

That's weird, but explains it. I use to get them regularly, then didn't get any for awhile, and now am getting them again. I wonder what else I'm not getting on my yahoo email? Friggin interbrednet, dang comfusers! Mad

I use a bellsouth.net account. The newsletters stopped coming in a few weeks back. I just went to Bobbe's web site and signed up again. I started getting them again. Any of you who aren't getting them should try signing up again.

His newsletter is great. Every steel player, and musician in general, should read them.

My letters come as steady as clockwork. I have a Rogers/Yahoo! account.
If the letters happen to go into your spam box, check the box and if you see the letter in there, mark it "not spam". If that don't work, go into your email list and make sure Bobbe's address is in your address book.

I also for about 6 months was not getting his newsletters anymore and figured he stopped writing them until I saw them mentioned on the Forum.
So I signed up again and they have been coming every week since then.

Hook Moore? With a name like that, I'd be carful who I was kidding! Ha! Ha!
Any relation to "Hook Less" "Hookumup" or "By Hook or Crook?" Wish Pat Burns was reading this, he invented the Hook filter.
Any relation to Hook Phish?

Well, I think it's still a problem: I reregistered with my Gmail account and got the last newsletter, but it hasn't shown up on my yahoo account. Thanks for these great news letters, Bobbe: you've got some great stories to tell, great topics.
