Basil-I just looked at your setup and you have it covered pretty good. I like the E6 and A6 configurations.
My Friend Fred Shannon and I developed a 12 string tuning based on E6 (which would have the same bar positions as E9). All the chords needed would be available, as Basil's are.. You could do a lot of strumming and still not hit a bad note.
If I remember correctly, Herb Remington's basic tuning was A6. Then he got E6 with one pedal, but I dont have the setup in fron of me, so cant remember the other pedals, all I do know that it was a very good setup with only 4 pedals, and he got all the needed chords.
E6 , E13th and A6 have always been my Basic tunings, even whan playing non pedal in the 30's..al. _________________ Michigan (MSGC)Christmas Dinner and Jam on my 80th Birthday.

Bill-That is a great setup that Herb uses. What a great pioneer player he is. P1 is the Maj7th, P2 is the Diminished, and P3 is your flatted 5th, 7th 9th chord. the Lr knee is the minor , like P6 on C6 , P3 is like P5 on C6, P1 is like P7 on C6, for you C6 guys.
LKR and P1 gives you a nice E7th that resolves into A6 open. Lots of good stuff there , and very lean...al. _________________ Michigan (MSGC)Christmas Dinner and Jam on my 80th Birthday.
