Everyone is welcome to come................
Steel players you may need to bring your steel.
My guitar is 1" under height.
I have attended this jam on a couple of nights when I wasn't playing and some of the best talents from the DFW area have attended.
Sonny Christofer a very well know Ft Worth song writer and personal freinds with Willie Nelson and many others was there last week.
Jerry Cook and Barbara Ford will be there this week hosting it.
It will be a great show.
They have this Jam every 1st and 3rd Friday. of every month...........
Mary Lane and Pipeline Road in Hurst, TX. Just east of and close to Precinct Line Road on the south side of the street.
see you there

David, if you are talking this Friday the 12th that's the 2nd Friday and not the 3rd. I could be wrong if so please ignore. Don.

One of the greatest and most heard complaints I hear from steel players and most other musicians are "Hey no one has any more jams". "There is no place a steel player can go to play around town to play his steel.
How may steel players in the DFW area?

I know you all aren't playing out Friday night now are you?
Well here is a jam and so far as I know there have been no comitted players coming.
If you want to play some old and newer counry and maybe a little old Buddy Holly type rock-a billy come to this jam.
Non smoking
Families and children welcome...
NOT A BAR....................
See you there.

David I hate to keep being a pest, but in your announcement you you say Friday the 18th. Actually Friday is on the 19th. Don.

Hi Bill, that sounds like a weinner. Only thing is I can't make the jam either. Wish I could. Played with Darrell McCall last week and Tony Booth played bass and Mona McCall played drums. We had a blast. Don't want to hi-jack David's thread though, good to hear from you. Don.

Still no replys. I guess everyone is giging this Friday night.
I would like to see at least a couple musicians show up.
If not at least I tried.
