There is a pedal steel for sale on the craigslist in Raleigh/Durham. 3 pedals, 3 knees, says it's a Mark II. Anyone familiar with this.

The "Mark II" was made and sold by the Market-Rite company about 30-35 years ago. It was a very cheap (and very basic) student-type pedal guitar, with a single-finger design changer. While it's better than no steel, it's certainly not one I'd recommend buying.

If you're still interested, you probably shouldn't give over $200-$250 for it.
