There will be a memorial/benefit for Jerry Taylor on Tuesday the 23rd of October at The Music City Bar and Grill. The address is 2416 Music Valley Drive Nashville, TN. It is directly behind The Nashville Palace which is in front of The Opryland Hotel.
It will be from 7:00p.m.- 11:00p.m.
For those who don't know Jerry, he played on the General Jackson Showboat for 12 years with Steve Hall and the Shotgun Red Show. He was a great steel guitar player, a great guy, and my biggest influence in getting started playing steel guitar.
I'll post a reminder as the date gets nearer. I hope everyone can make it out to hear some good pickin' and singin' for a very worthy cause.
