Our next open jam will be Sunday, Oct 21th. If you play steel guitar you can play in the jam. You don't have to be a member. The second set Terry Bethel and I will be teaching right hand technique and different way's to chime. This is all FREE so tell your friend's.

Tereas and I will be coming back from Hot Springs. If we can get our butts out of bed early enough maybe we will stop by!

The open jam will be at our regular place The Branson Community Center.
The Center is a beautiful large bldg with a 9 hole golf cource. No step to climb. There also is a Church service, before our jam, from 9:30 until 11:30.

The Ozark Steel Guitar Association invites you to the Branson Community Center Oct.21st for our bi-monthly jam.

Hank Ruf, our president will be doing a mini seminar on picking techniques, and I, Terry Bethel will be doing a mini seminar on harmonics. Did you know there are many different ways to play harmonics?????????

Bring your steel, seat and amp and have a great afternoon with us.

We will have an open jam before the seminars and after them, come out we are trying to help y'all, with everything from pickin' to how to make chords and everything in between,

See you there,

Terry Bethel

According to the website, the jam starts at 1:00 to 5:00? It's at 201 Compton Drive? I believe I can't resist that kind of fun, so I'll see about coming!! Do you have motel suggestions? Smile

James, The Baldknobber Motor Inn has been VERY helpful to the Ozark SGA. They also have reasonable priced rooms.

If you are just starting to play steel or if you have been playing for sometime and your tone is not what you are wanting, this can help you. You don't have to be a member to come to the jam and seminar. Bring your steel, seat and amp.
