We have been informed this week that our current bass player will be persueing another project starting in 2 weeks.
We are looking for a solid, fun, dedicated, dependable, seasoned and clean cut traditional country bass player. We are an established band of 2 years. We play a ton of old 2/4's and 4/4 shuffles and some waltzes with lots of steel and fiddle. You must have a working knowledge of the Nashville number system,a good meter and harmonies and vocals a plus.
Most gigs are in the Ft.Worth and surrounding area, but there will be some traveling involved within a 250-300 mile radius of the D/FW metroplex on the weekends. We have a ton of good jobs lined up,we have a trailer and great sound equipment. We also have new CD project thats about to get started that should open up all kinds of doors. This would be a great opportunity for someone who enjoys playing some of the greatest old traditional country music in some of the greatest old dancehalls that Texas has to offer.

Please contact me. I'm interested in talking to you about the position for singing bass player if it's still open. I live in Weatherford and have years of experience.

Wade, There's a great bass picker in Texas. He has worked with Johnny Bush, and just every body else there. His name is Johnny Beck. Here's his email address.
