I have one and I'm contemplating getting another, if I can find a used one at a reasonable price. Anybody have one for sale? I know there are many 112 amp options and I'll probably get many suggestions, but I'm only interested in this particular reissue model - not even a Silverface or original Blackface. _________________ Jackson Steel Guitars

Hmm, why this model? Is it particularly sweet for a particular tone? _________________ RICK ABBOTT

Well, I have one now and was wanting to pair it up with another one for steel. The Session 400 is breaking my back. The lone Deluxe is obviously not cutting it for steel, but another one would do the trick in a small to medium size bar. I wanted to match them properly, instead of having a Silverface, etc. Seeing that you brought it up, they do have great, snappy tone. Two run in stereo for steel would be really nice, with just the right amount of breakup at 44 watts.
I am considering other Fender amps at this point, but the shipping thing is killer with any amp heavier than a Deluxe. I think that's part of my reasoning as well for the Deluxe. There's not a huge selection locally. _________________ Jackson Steel Guitars

Chris:
There is a Early Blackface Deluxe Dec. 63 100%
orginal for $1500 that's on Craig's list in
Dallas. Don't know any thing about it. |

Thanks, Autry......as much as I adore the tone of the original BF Deluxes, I do find them rather expensive. But I will take a look anyway. _________________ Jackson Steel Guitars
