You are all Blessed to have your pets if you want to call them PETS. I call them "SIGNIFICANT OTHER". Nothing like them in the world except grandchildren. In my case the grand-daughter has a small red Pomeranian and they both crawled into my heart and make me a very happy grandpa..and they even listen while I persue the mysteries of the pedal steel guitar. Of course I lock the door so they can't leave... |

We never had a lovebird until we heard Juanita chirping outside our door on the parapet while I was practicing the steel. We took her in and put up flyers to find her owner since we saw that one of her wings was clipped. After a week without getting a response we just kept her. Later we got her a mate, Petey.
