I'm getting a slight "thump" at turn-off with my new Nashville 112. Nothing major, but audible. It occurs even when I turn down the pre and master gain first.

Is this OK and normal?

This could very well be normal since it is a solid state amp. If you know someone who has another Nashville 112, compare it to theirs.

Thanks, Mike.

I don't personally know anyone else with a 112 (I'm a new owner) so perhaps others will chime in.

Hey Don, My N.112 does the same and my N.400 pops when I turn it on. Nothing to worry about, I think.
Hope this helps. Leon

Thanks Leon, that does make me feel better.

Probably just caps discharging or something, but just wanted to be sure.

Mine does it too. It's a 2 syllable ba-rump lasting a little less than a second.

You should hear the thump of my Session 400 when it's turned on......THUMMP!! I remember my Nashville 112 having a little thump when turned on, but nothing like the gutteral, low-end burp of the Session...I love it, actually! It's all part of the experience....reaching over the back of the amp, wrapping your index finger around the metal switch, and pulling it to one side.............thump!! All Session owners know that you have to put a bit of elbow grease into that pull. Smile
