Congratulatons Manny !!!

Not to take any spotlight off of Manny, but Eddie is being a little modest here. He also won an award last night for Best Mandolin/Dobro/Banjo player of the Year. Congratulations Eddie !

Congratulations Manny! It couldn’t have happened to a better guy. If those trophies don’t fit on your fireplace mantel, I’ll be glad to take them off your hands. I have plenty of room on mine.

Congratulations also to you Eddie Cunningham on your achievement.

Congratulations Manny. Also, thanks for the use of the duct tape on Sunday at the RISGA steel show. Without it, my microphone would be in two pieces and my earphones would have been shredded.

Thank you all for the kind words of support. Take a lookm around Southern New England. With all the precision players we have ,why me? I felt like a thief. However I accept the honor with one of the greatest moments of my life.
What can I say about Eddy Cunningham,(who also won an award), and read my induction. He has been in the Mass. Country Music Hall of Fame since 1983. Around 1991 they had to "put him out to pasture". In other words,he had won so many times, he was inducted into the "Gallery of Greats". This "Gallery of Greats" is an honorable category that makes you ineligible to compete. So now you know how I was aable to win.
(getting back to my induction speech) The "Old Geezer" roasted me. I never heard an induction speech like that. I was shaking in my boots and laughing, (as well as the audience), very much. Eddy is an old legend in the Boston area. However you don`t deserve the title "Old Geezer". To me you are a local ambassador. I looked up the word. The dictionary defines ambassador as a high ranking representative etc. But I would prefer to shorten your title to "Bassador". From now on you are the "Old Bassador". All joking aside, I have always had the greatest respect for you. You will always have a place in my heart.
