To all beginers : This school is one of the best. If you really want to learn how to play, get rid of bad habits you have picked up, and understand your guitar, this school is a must for you. Jody has studied with Jeff Newman and Buddy Emmons, and is well qualified to teach, and he is also a super player. Make plans now to attend this school. Jody.

On your website, the "school calendar" for November 2007 is empty - I didn't see anything about the E9th class. I also looked but could not find any mention of it anywhere else on the site. What's the cost to attend?

Sorry Dave - I can't get the calendar to work right on the website.

The cost of the school is $800 if you register before Oct. 12th. The class starts Nov. 12th. It runs three days; 8 hrs. per day. Included in the price is a book, BIAB tracks, charts, and a complete DVD recording of the class.

Thanks for your interest, and thanks JB and Brandon for the bump.

I have been a student of Jody's since January 2007 and I must say I am greatly satisfied with they way he teaches! He knows how to put the steel into a perspective to where its easier to learn, and to have FUN with! Smile This is a great opportunity to learn new things, and to kick old habits Smile I guarantee you will be completly satisfied with the course! Smile A bump for my friend JC!

Hi Jody,
What would be the chances of you offering your intensive classes here in the NW? I think this would be a great learning opportunity for fairly "newbies" like myself. Anyone else here in Oregon or Washington open to this idea?

Dennis and I have been corresponding via email about a possible 3-day class in the NW - Portland, OR to be exact. We are still in the planning stages, but I'm offering a special rate for the NW guys if enough folks would be interested.

Please feel free to contact me via email @ emmonsd10@yahoo.com for pricing if you are from the NW and may be interested.

I will be out on the road playing for three days, but will be back home on Monday, Oct. 1st to answer emails.

Thanks to all, JC

NW Guys, Jody will greatly improve your overall understanding as well as skill level. For any of you that have not had the pleasure to hear, meet or see him play just ask anyone who has. This would be a good chance to get some expert one on one training.

FYI
I will be going to Portland on Nov. 12, 13, and 14th to teach rather than here in Texas. However, another class will be held in January 2008 here in Texas. Thanks, JC
