| I looked on the website and couldn't find any information about string spacing or scale length. Why? |

I don't know. Have you tried asking Colin (the builder) directly rather than posting such a question on a public forum? I'm sure he'd both know the answer and he'd be willing to share it with you.

Dan, I'll be happy to answer your question the best I can, as soon as I get home and measure Colin's proto, as I've been meaning to do anyway.

Dan, it's 3/8" at the bridge, and 1/4" at the nut.
Just back from Don Ho'nolulu Int. Airport, where I handed the proto back to Colin to take home. What a player friendly guitar!
He didn't fall for the paper mache' copy I put in the case...  |

Hi Dan,
Thanks for pointing out to me that I really need to update my website.
CruzTone guitars all have 24" scale. The string spacing is different on the 6 string and the 8 string, and significantly different from what Ron posted as well.
8 string is .41 at the bridge, .30 at the nut
6 string is .4375 at the bridge,.35 at the nut |

Sorry to get it wrong, guy's. Hope I wasn't too far off, as I have no idea what the #s Colin posted translates to. I used an old wooden school ruler, and it looked dead on at what I posted.

Well Ron, not to be fussy but those 1/32 of an inch add up;
7(spaces)X 1/4" = 1 3/4" overall between the first and eighth string.
7 X .3" = 2.1" from first to eighth. Slightly more roomy and I believe close to Stringmaster nut spacing, at least that's what I was shooting for.  |

| That's a circa 1980 Yamaha G100-112. Solid state,100 watts,1-12" speaker and a lot of EQ. They're about the size of a Fender Princeton. You can pick them up for $100-$200 and they make a nice steel amp.A fine alternative to a Nash 112. |
