First time to own and play a Shobud Super Pro. Sweet as cream playing and sounding.
It's just got that something.
Enjoying My Bud.

Thanks John
This is a 1980 too. I was amazed at the smoothness of the pedals. I just thought
they would be harder to push. Smoother than anything I have played. Stays in
tune and for the first time I understand
"Tone to the Bone"
And to Tommy Young
I'm just glad I don't have as many as I have had. But I'm lookin at another one.
You ought to be busy after St Louis.
Bless you

A friend of mine bought the Super Pro new or close to new around 1980, I believe. When he passed away about 10 or so years ago, his daughter kept the guitar in the case in a closet for the entire time. When I got it and serviced it with light oil and new strings, it came to life. Believe it or not the old Bud was still in tune. I made a few minor tweaks on it, as you would any guitar with new strings and it was ready. I hated to see it go but I'm glad it's in a good man's hands now. She's a classic BUD! The only thing not original on it is the E66 on the front neck. Piece of art folks. |
