There will be about 8 minutes on sacred steel included in "Egg: The Arts Show," (great title, huh?) a new half-hour series produced by WNET New York. The segment will feature the Campbell Bros live in church in Rush, NY as well as Willie Eason playing in church at Ocala, FL. Here's the broadcast schedule.

I don't beleive so, Jim. There are two PBS stations in the NY area and even the McNeil news hour is on at different times. As they say, check your local listings. |

As I understand it, the situation is very similar to the way it is done with public radio programs. The program is made available via a PBS satellite at some specific time. Interested stations download the program from the satellite, record it and rebroadcast it at the time they choose.
I got the broadcast schedule directly from WNET, so it should include all the stations that are picking up the program.
I haven't seen the finished product, but WNET has an excellent reputation and their crew was very thorough and professional. |
