And note where i am in terms of cents but i guess -4 would be a good place to start ... |

I tune mine 4 cents flat. How do you tune your F#?
You'll want it 6-8 cents flat of your F# value (its main use is the 3rd to F#). I tune 1 & 7 string +6 C pedals 4th string -2 I guess - ... |
