Bill Ferguson I think uses XR16 in his Carter, and he always sounds good. I have XR16 in my Zum D10 and love them.

A pedal is a common combo with the E-raise lever, and B-Pedal is common with E-lower lever. The Emmons setup works pretty well with both of these scenarios with both on the left side of the guitar.

I have always been curious if bicycle chain cleaner fluid would work. Anybody tried it? Seems to be the right stuff, but not sure if it hurts finishes. Never hurt the finish on my $3000 bicycle.

The spacers are a great innovation. Makes tuning a lot smoother compared to rubbing up against the changer holes.

I wouldn't mess with them. If there is not a problem, don't try to fix what ain't broken.
